Robert Rivard is an artist with not only a mastery of design, composition, and stylization, but someone with ideas. His elaborations enriched the stories and inspired the production.

So all the location pre-designs were rendered in marker grey tones and with characters interacting in the location. Compliments (map-views, diagrams, notes etc.) were added so that the production model packs functioned well enough, but these 'mises-en-situations' really helped at the boarding and animation stages. It was an exciting time.
